I read a blog about eye creams and the different types. It’s actually very basic, but something that beginners or those considering to use eye creams should probably read first.
It says that there are three basic eye creams, which really depends on its consistency, additional features they have, and the time of day they should be used. The three basic eye creams are day cream, night cream, and one which may be used any time of the day.
Morning creams are lighter, and have SPF to offer protection from the sun. Evening creams on the other hand, are much heavier offering more moisturizing effects, basically, more emollient. The third cream on the other hand, are more of in between the morning and evening cream, thus, able to cover all the aspects of the best eye cream.
I went to the mall yesterday to shop for my favorite shade of lipstick. As usual, there were massive amounts of teenagers everywhere. I almost couldn’t help myself when I saw a couple of girls buying a cosmetic with loads of harmful chemicals. It’s supposed to cleanse the skin, but it really dries it up more. Much worse, when you get to this age, your skin will look like freshly washed laundry, without the pressing.
I hope some young girls get to read this, and be more careful about choosing the products they put on their face, as early as teenagers. Avoid harm on your skin, avoid eye wrinkles, and avoid premature aging.
Skin care advice always include hydrate and avoid the sun. Unfortunately, for many of us, avoiding the sun isn’t that easy. You’re already aware of the damaging effects, you always remember to put on sunscreen and anti-wrinkle creams, but did you know there are other activities and factors that increase the sun’s damaging effects such as premature aging, wrinkles, skin cancer, and the likes to your skin?
One of the unavoidable factors is location. Places near the equator have less distance from the sun compared to those living in other parts of the globe. Therefore, the UV rays in these areas are also stronger. Even for those who live further from the equator also have some issues to deal with. UV rays increase from 8-10% in intensity with every 1000 feet increase in altitude. This means, if you live in the mountains, the risk may also be higher for you.
Another factor that many are unaware of is medication. Unknown to many, antibiotics cause photosensitivity, or heightened sensitivity of the skin to the rays of the sun. Thus, results from average exposure to the sun, and the effects like wrinkles that it causes are increased, and might even cause sunburns.
Genetics can never be changed, even with numerous surgeries, and unfortunately, this is one factor that could affect your susceptibility to the rays of the sun. fair skinned with light haired people and with freckles are at a higher risk of developing sun damage. You might want to use higher spf for your sunscreen, and apply more anti-wrinkle cream at night.
Almost everyone would like to think that younger looking skin comes naturally for everyone. The truth is, it doesn’t. It needs hard work, a lot of control, and really good taste for cosmetics. A lot of people tend to choose the wrong kind of product, immediately put it on their face, and end up looking twice as old as they were before the product.
If I could give anyone any advice, not that I’m in the expert, it would be, be careful. Be careful of the things you do, the things you put, and food and drink you take in. The skin is a complicated organ in the body, and also the most visible. Damage upon the skin, like any other part of the body, needs repair, and more care. Avoid damage, and you’ll be in a better position to improve what you already have.
